Cleard carries accepted purchase terms and bounded refund authority alongside open payments. Providers or direct merchants create funding terms; the merchant signs with its existing wallet. The accepted policy selects reserve funding or bounded collection from that spendable wallet.

Keep your buyer experience and designated reviewer, using the SDK or hosted wallet links. Your payment integration must call the enrolled contract’s pay method instead of transferring directly to the merchant. Cleard tracks approved, paid and outstanding refunds; original payments remain final.

Original payment: Buyer → Merchant. Settlement remains final.

Separate refund: Enrolled funds → Agreed beneficiary, after a qualifying decision and subject to available funds.
